Christmas 2025
“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.” — John 1:14
Christmas is the celebration of God’s great love for humanity. It is not the story of a baby becoming God, but of God humbling Himself to become a baby. Out of love for us, God entered human history, limited in time and space, sharing fully in our human life.
Light, Hope, and Salvation
Jesus Christ was born to bring light into our darkness, hope into our struggles, and salvation to all humankind. Through His birth, life, sacrifice, and resurrection, we are offered forgiveness, peace, and new life.
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given.” — Isaiah 9:6
“Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom His favour rests.” — Luke 2:14
The true meaning of Christmas lies in celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ—Emmanuel, God with us. It proclaims God’s immense love, hope, and salvation for the world.
Christmas brings messages of joy, peace, forgiveness, and redemption, inviting us to reflect God’s love through acts of kindness, generosity, and togetherness with family and the less fortunate, moving beyond commercialism toward spiritual renewal and universal goodwill.
A Season to Love and Reconnect
Tucked deep into the final month of the year, Christmas arrives with long holidays that invite us to slow down, unwind, and reconnect. It is a season meant for bonding with family and friends during one of the coziest times of the year.
This is God’s intended way for us to conclude one year and journey into the next — truly His beautiful gift to all of us.
“The people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.” — Matthew 4:16
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has never been able to extinguish it.” — John 1:5
Christmas Blessing
May the birth of Jesus renew our faith, strengthen our love, and fill our hearts with gratitude for God’s saving grace. As the three kings visited the Babe, what joy awaits us when we too are visited by the King of kings.
