A Joyous Milestone in Our Faith Journey
With hearts overflowing with gratitude and joy, we are blessed to announce that St. Bernadette Proposed Mission has been officially elevated as the 102nd Mission under the Eparchy of Great Britain in the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church, by Bishop Joseph Srampickal, on 29th June 2025. This marks a historic and grace-filled moment in our journey of faith—a true testimony to God’s enduring mercy and our community’s steadfast dedication.
Our Mission: Rooted in Christ, Growing in Communion
From its humble beginnings in 2018, nurtured by prayer and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, our mission has flourished into a vibrant and Christ-centred community. Today, we joyfully serve the faithful across Woking, Frimley, Aldershot, Guildford and Haslemere—a growing spiritual family bound together in love and service.
Our Faithful Community
We are privileged to have over 150 registered families actively participating in the sacramental, liturgical, and communal life of the Church. Their generous support both spiritually and financially, has laid a strong foundation for our growth and strengthened our witness as a mission rooted in love and unity.
Nurturing Young Hearts in Faith
A special joy of our mission is the 140 children who regularly attend catechism, where they are formed in the richness of our faith, guided by the teachings of the Church, and nurtured in love for Christ and His people.
Their enthusiasm is also evident in their active involvement in Savio Friends, CML and other pious associations, reflecting the timeless wisdom of Scripture:
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not depart from it.” – Proverbs 22:6
A Community in Full Bloom
- Women’s Forum & 10 Family Units – Flourishing and spiritually enriching, offering mutual support and vibrant fellowship.
- Men’s Forum – In its early but promising stages, with encouraging efforts toward deeper spiritual engagement.
- Youth Ministry – A vibrant source of hope and leadership, with active participation in the life and mission of the Church.
Indeed, we are witnessing the abundant fruits of faith, prayer and fellowship.

As we embrace this new phase, we entrust our mission to the loving providence of God. We remain committed to building a mission that serves, uplifts, and evangelises. Let us walk together, inspired by the example of our patroness St. Bernadette, who followed Christ with simplicity, humility, and unwavering faith.
